Hawthorn Shimmer Medium Gold

These are now supplied as a 2-pot formulation

• Pot one paste
• Pot two varnish

These need to be mixed together in equal proportions 50/50

• You do not need to mix all the ink in one application, but instead mix a little of each as required.
• Do not put mixed gold back in either of the pots, save in a separate pot.
• If your mix is too runny, add more paste until the desired printable consistency is achieved. If too stiff then add more varnish. Consistency will vary depending upon the nature of what you are printing.
• Add driers to the gold – one or two drops to the ink being used, this will help speed up the drying process

In general, less absorbent surfaces will give the shiniest results. Absorbent papers will give a matt finish
